Was looking for a Memphis style barbecue place then just happened to stop in this place. I was blown away by the size and how clean it was. First thing when I walked in of course I got a Tito's and cranberry but before I could even order food I was drawn to all the games. I played the basketball game first and was happy about how long my dollar lasted. Most times when you go to play games at places like Dave & Buster's it doesn't last that long. We ended up getting the rubbed wings which were absolutely delicious corn putting the baked beans and the macaroni and cheese and I was not disappointed, great job guys. I was really happy with how nice the staff was as well. Another big thing for me is bathrooms. Thank you for having very clean bathrooms! Shawn was an awesome bartender so ask for him

Im on the fence between three and four stars.
The ribs were fall off the bone but not a sign of smoke and slight taste of smoke. They were good but felt they were either braised or put in the foil way to soon.
The wings were very good. I do like the dry rub on the ribs and wings.
The mashed taters were very good but Mac and cheese was basic, assuming they made it. Seemed very cafeteria.
I have a local five star bbq joint so if you are not as good you get four at best. -

Cool little spot thats hard to find but worth the search!
Memphis Style BBQ is a nice place to go if you like the blues and bbq...
We were lucky to have went on a night when live music (blues) was being played and it was great!
The staff here is great and the food is ok (below average) for bbq establishments that I've came across.
You get more than enough food at this establishment; Yes, carryout box please - lol!
The prices on the menu are also good for what you get...
Your getting your moneys worth here. However, its not the best bbq... just ok (below average).
If you ever in the Largo area go check out this spot and you will be entertained with the good music. The bar area was nice and has good cold draft beer.
Good (vibes) atmosphere here; people into the music!
I may return for some of that good music...
2-stars for good music and cool atmosphere; food as stated earlier was ok (below average) from the bbq Im use to eating and I know real Memphis bbq...
I recommend the music and beer more so here; Its worth the stop for the entertainment. The live music is really what makes this place.
Take care. -

Don't bother trying to find this place. I went to the address they had listed and found a sports bar that said they had moved months ago. Turns out they are at a vfw across the street only on sundays from 1 to 7 something. But you wouldn't know that unless you called them to get a long winded useless message to only get told to text them. So i texted to see where and when they were open. I did not get a response till the next day. Maybe they should update their info.

My family & I were hankering (I think that's the 1st time I've ever used the word "hankering" in a sentence) for some bbq. We found this restaurant on Yelp & decided to try it. The location is a bit hidden in the back of a strip mall, & not facing toward the main road. We walked in & at first thought we were in the wrong place. It struck us as a sports bar. We learned later that Memphis bbq had moved from another location & indeed had merged with a sports bar. They felt it was a win as they could now split the high overhead costs. We all ordered the pulled pork combos. I have to say, this pulled pork was amazingly delicious. I was first struck by the nice smoked flavor that permeated the meat. The meat was succulent & not full of any bad parts such as fat & unrecognizable things, lol. The bbq sauces complemented the meat well. For sides I got fried okra, & mac & cheese. The okra was freshly fried & not just out of a frozen bag. Excellent flavor. The Mac & cheese was piping hot & extra tasty, due to what I perceived as a small infusion of paprika & perhaps cayenne pepper. So if you want honest bbq, this is it. And here's a nice tip...on Thursdays they give you $2 off the pulled pork combos.
